The day Indian Motorcycle Dealer Association (IMCA) officially begins the annual Indian Motorcyclist Accident Day on Friday, it will mark the day when a motorcycle is registered in India.
IMCA has held a ceremony to mark this day every year since 2003.
The last such day, on October 1, came after the 2008 Mumbai attacks, which left 166 people dead.
The IMCA said on its Facebook page that it would celebrate the anniversary with “the joy and pride of a community, which has been in the midst of a tremendous tragedy.
This tragedy has taken the lives of over two lakh Indians.”
According to IMCA, the annual day is an annual event that was first organized in the year 1765.
The day is marked on October 11, and on October 12, the date of the last motorcycle accident.
The IMCA did not respond to a request for comment.
