Beavers Lake, AB – August 16, 2019 – The Benelli Motorcycle Company, maker of the Beavers Lakeside Bike and Motorcycle, is proud to announce that its newest motorcycle, the Benelli Guzzi, will be available in 2018.
The Guzzi is a performance model that will offer a more modern approach to touring and touring touring performance, while offering a higher level of performance in the race environment.
The new model will be powered by the new Benelli S12, a highly efficient, responsive engine that uses an aluminum cylinder block, direct injection, and high performance pistons.
The S12 has been developed in partnership with the Italian company DaimlerChrysler, who developed the chassis for the BMW S600.
This combination allows the Guzzi to be very similar to its predecessor, but the engine is powered by a completely different cylinder block design.
The engine is mounted on a new, high-strength, high compression, high flow (HVFC) cylinder head that has been specially developed for the Guzinis performance capabilities.
The HVFC cylinder head has been specifically designed to be a better candidate for efficient power delivery, high power-to-weight ratio and low drag.
The cylinder head also provides a longer stroke for a more efficient intake and exhaust flow.
The combination of these features makes the engine very competitive and produces significantly more power than any other engine in its class.
This year, the new Guzzi will be offered in two configurations.
The standard model will have a displacement of approximately 600cc, and a starting price of $4,995.
The “super model” model will offer an even higher displacement, up to 700cc, with a starting engine price of just $5,999.
A new version of the S12 engine is available, which delivers more power and torque than the current model, but has a lower starting price.
The super model engine has an impressive 14,000 RPM (12,600 kW) at 6,000 rpm and a claimed 9,000 lb-ft of torque.
The high-performance version has an astounding 14,500 RPM (13,500 kW) with a claimed 8,000 ft-lb of torque at 6.0 million RPM.
The new Guzini is the perfect addition to Beavers bikes and we look forward to seeing more of these bikes in 2018 and beyond.
